While researching on the topic of non-binary people, I got recommended this right wing guy that just screamed over and over that there were only 2 genders. I was increadibly naive and impressionable as a kid, so I immediately believed him. I didn’t understand the concept of political discourse at the time.

That night, I didn’t sleep. I spent my whole time crying. But then again, I had planned to come out to my parents, so maybe it was for the best.
