It used to be tradition, at least when I went out dressed as a guy. But nowadays it seems like you have to say you want to split the bill, at least that’s what I see around.
I’m going out with this guy on Sunday and he said, “Baby, I’ll pay for your” and now I don’t know if the right thing to do is to say thank you or if that makes me look like a gold digger.
What is the polite protocol?
I think it really depends on the guy/location.
I never been on a date before, so take this with a grain of salt, if he offered (and you want him to pay the bill) then you can probably just thank him, but make sure you have enough money to pay for yourself just in case
Yeah, I’ll take my credit card, you never know.
