My bestie recently started dating an absolute fucking gem of a man, a music teacher for disabled kids who also volunteers in his free time to help with weekend and afterschooln programs for disadvantaged youth in the city he grew up in, An absolute gold plated soul, the man is a classic archetype of “Gentle Giant”, a big man with a big Afro that looks always juuuuust on the verge of floating off his head, crowning a face that wears a smile more naturally than many I’ve ever seen.

Names Louis (the French way),

I’m planning a Suprise birthday ambush for my bestie he’s dating, so I’m texting our mutual friends back and forth, and completely unprompted I referred to him as ’ Louis-XIV" ’ (because according to my friend the only thing bigger than his heart is his 🫢).

And I think it’s going to stick.

      Ooooooo that’s the movie that kickstarted my fashion frenzy and my many years living between the pages of Victorian Women’s literature lol 🫡 good taste

      I think he’s just too goofy to associate him to that movie, like, he came to Renne Faire with us last year and in every photo he’s mid laugh, it’s lovely.
