I know the image sucks, but it’s a quick drawing of a top view, middle is the head and the other two balls are shoulders, I have this friend who’s short and said her bideltoid is 50cm, which is quite high for someone with her height (166cm), not even an 190cm bodybuilder has this bideltoid, when I ask how she measures, it was clear why the number got so right, she uses the measure curved around her back, making an arch, which increases the measurements a lot, while from what I heard the measures were always straight lines with a ruler like thing
youre not gonna get an accurate measurement without calipers. best alternative is the sliding door method.
or if you cant do that idk, maybe marking with a pencil on the wall at each end of your shoulders? that wouldnt be super accurate but better than nothing ig
this is what I did but it feels like you need someone else to mark the wall for you. it seems like it’d be about as accurate as sliding door with assistance
thats how i tried to do it too and its like so impossible lol. when i was entering it on those ansur graphs and stuff i gave it +/- 1 cm and even that probably isnt enough
biacromial is easier to measure yourself and is used more often and tbh i kinda think it matters more so if no calipers id use that for worm accuracy
hmm but if I measure my biacromial, I won’t be able to cope about my bideltoid being large due to weight/fat distribution, thus ruining my cope. can’t have that 😊

I’ve always done it as a straight line have I been wrong this whole time.
nah you’re right. BREADTH is a straight line.
