she says she doesn’t shave her arm hair either but it’s barely noticeable on her white and red arm meanwhile I have black hair on caramel mixed skin 😞 I want to wear short sleeve shirts bc it’s becoming unbearably hot but my hair… its not even about “oh women have less hair so dysphoria” I genuinely hate it I think I’d hate it even if I wasn’t trans I can’t stand body hair pls how do I convince her. I’m 18 but she controls all my finances and she threw away my shaving stuff when I bought it with my own money

even after telling her she said “go out in the sun to lighten it, I’ve seen women with worse, it is true I learnt it when I was younger, it’ll become prickly” she won’t listen to me

im sorry but your mom has 50 iq. body hair just simply doesnt work like that. its only influenced by hormones, so the only thing you can do is wait and see if it gets lighter on hrt overtime. in the meantime you can just shave it, it wont grow back darker

not true, is just an optical illusion because hair has a little cone shape so shaving makes it look thicker but its not, its just that the tip pointy part was cut off so you see a truncated cone but it wont make hair any thicker than hair can be. i try to shave them really often because of mena ancestry and hasnt changed the shape of hair significantly for me
