I remember first seeing the trailer when it dropped and the environment was cartoony vibrant and fun, now the game is more realistic but the player models and pals still look hyper cartoony, It also doesn’t run that great unless u turn the graphics all the way down :( ik this isnt pokemon but I just wanna know if anyone else has similar thoughts
agreed tbher… even the pals are kinda inconsistent esp the later in the game u go
fr, I feel like palworld is a bit overhyped idk its a good game but ppl act like its going to destroy pokemon when majority of pals cant compete with pokemons designs. Idk I think they try too hard to be pokemon so they dont have their own identity
yah tbher… the game competes with ark way more than it does pokemon despite it being “the pokemon killer”. it wouldve been cool if it leaned more into it’s own aesthetic maybe something more medieval fantasy with designs kinda like digimon. but idk im not rly into palworld or ark tbher
from what ive seen tho palworld is better than ark, but ive never played ark and I dont plan to bc it looks ugly and ive seen its janky. not in the fun way either but frustrating way
same, I like a few specific pals but thats it, the building in the game is not very good imo it feels like fortnite building ngl. I do like how pals occasionally attack other wild pals I havent played too much arceus but I havent seen that happen in it. I also hate how they copy from botw its so boring with the blue futuristic tech and music, especially when everything else is not futuristic.
So true, i really wanted to try it out, but for some reason i just cant ignore the huge clash in the graphics between the pals and the world. It just really turned me off from the game
