Every time I look up different forms of testosterone, I notice that pills are most definitely an option, yet they’re still frowned upon, due to the supposed liver damage they cause. Are they really that bad? I have seen a few anecdotes of trans men using them with no harm caused (aside from the lack of masculinizing effects of course).

    I have an ex thst takes pills now for 2 years and I don’t think he has any issues, depends on person to person ofc but in the end pills are suboptimal for both sides of the isle, first pass effect isn’t good to be having for the rest of your life even though plenty can survive it, better to not worry and just do injections

      From the horses mouth he said he did struggle with menstruation at the start when he did still have his ovaries but has since gotten a hyst and hasn’t had any problems, makes sense

    I honestly dont know “how bad/likely” but I think really w the ease of shots there’s not a reason to risk it
