i found myself in a state between sleep and wakefulness last night , between 3–5am . or rather , i was stuck in a state of both being asleep and being awake at the same time . twas very strange and idrk how to describe it but hm ,

i wonder what’s going on ? i had a similar sort of episode three weeks ago that lasted an unknown amount of time , which also involved some level of sleepwalking . some kind of partial arousal from sleep ? paralysis perhaps ? no noticeable focal neurological deficits which is a good sign .

i dunno . i wonder if it’ll happen again ? blub

i was thinking it could be that too since i’m pretty sure i couldn’t move this time ya . but last time i was able to move so hmm . maybe they’re both just isolated incidents and not actually connected ?

Might have been that you were just close to sleep paralysis last time and not fully paralized thats why you could move. I had sp once and I was able to break out of it and move pretty quickly

hm that sounds reasonable ya but how do you break out of it ? i feel like i’ve just been stuck in that state until my brain decides to just gradually wake up

Hold your breath. When you sleep your body will automatically wake you up when it senses you’re not getting any air, its the same when you’re in sleep paralysis
