Pain is price we pay for moments of happiness… also… there is no cure for pain… pain will always be there… but suffering… suffering is different from pain… suffering is to turn away from joy and allow yourself to be consumed by pain by not giving joyful moments their due… you will feel pain but you choose to suffer… accept pain and joy as equals in life and you will become free from suffering… mourn your wounds
There is simply not enough joy in my life so they can’t be equal. The most joy I ever get is temporary relief from suffering but that’s it, and only for a short period of time
They are equal, not in quantity, but in importance. Idk… I just don’t want you to give up… I don’t have all the answers… you just seem like a nice person and I dont want you to kill yourself… I want you to stay alive and hopefully one day be happy… I’ve been suicidal since I was 12y old as well… attempted three times… but it can get better
I am impossible to cure I have been constantly depressed since I gained consciousness at age 12 and developed dysphoria out of nowhere
