They’re just smaller than typical syringes, usually 30-31 gauge and 1mm capacity. Needles on them should be less than an inch long and are intended for subcutaneous injections, which is injecting into the fat. Best places to do that are your belly, at least 2 inches away from your belly button, or on the outside of your thighs
Just get syringes that have needles less than an inch long but at least 3/4 of an inch to get through the skin, subq needles are shorter and thinner than intramuscular (im) needles which are around an inch and a half or bigger. Just make sure you’re feeling for the flabby part of your arm and inject it at a 90°-45° angle. It also helps to pinch the fatty area where you’re injecting cus it helps keep the needle away from muscle and makes sure it’s getting into the fat. This is why most people do belly or thigh, it’s pretty difficult to do that with your arm.
It’s nerve wracking but you can do it, if it takes a while to psyche yourself up it’s ok. My first time doing it myself I was using IM and just kept staring at the needle hovering over my leg and pacing around for almost an hour, it was horrible. Not to mention I was stupid and injecting AIR for like the first 2 MONTHS on injections but that’s another story. Just make sure you actually see liquid going into the syringe when you draw lol. It can take a long time with such thin needles, and that also means you’ll be sitting with the needle in you for a little bit too but it’ll be okay! I promise it will be so so worth it once it’s done. Once you have it in just focus on pushing the plunger all the way down and keeping the syringe steady. Once you’ve done this a couple of times it gets so much easier I promise. If you have any more questions feel free to ask! Good luck! :)

I’m retarded what if I mess up the exact distance
