I see where your coming from. Not really much more to say than essentially what you said that being straight is socially better.

It’s gotta be hard for people to shift their perspective from growing up being continuously ostracized for being gay to that becoming straight changes your place in the world and that makes your life better in some ways. All the while newly becoming ostracized for being trans makes it easy to transplant their experienced homophobia to transphobia.

Very straight passing if a straight trans woman doesn’t recognize the benefits of heterosexuality.
