it’d be cool if all the good 4t4ers could be reunited in one big space. though, practically, if there are 8 competing spaces and you make 1 big space to unite them, you’ll just end up with 9 competing spaces. also, we have a lot of strong personalities and weird social structures that don’t really mix and some groups of people just need separate spaces. i have my haters and mutual friends with those haters and i don’t want to put those mutual friends in a position where both i and those haters are in the same room and they have to choose, and there are a ton of other weird social structures that only exist in these communities of profoundly mentally ill people that would render such a matrix actually working impossible.

i’d invite you to liz’s server if i were still in it. trish should still be in it tho. next you see her, ask her to pass along to gabe or liz or someone that Yearn4Freedom on tranistan.com wants an invite

i dont see them as competing, for example look at 4tranistan, it kinda became slightly different from 4t4 bc of yuzuki, but is it competing with 4t4? not really, tranistan isn’t competing with reddit either, tranistan is slightly different from reddit and there’s people who prefer it, this happens to every offshoot, look at 4tran subs for example, they’re an offshoot of the board but reddit doesn’t compete with the board, i think more spaces are better bc of the small differences between them, some people will like one place more than another bc of those small differences and become a regular there

there are people on here who would be on reddit if here didn’t exist and vice versa. thus, they are competing. if they specialize for slightly different social niches, that’s fine, and i appreciate the added diversity in our community, but they are still competing, even if they don’t exist in adversarial opposition to each other in the minds of their userbases.
