What are some strange and unique rail (or rail-adjacent) journeys you’d love to take before you die? Mine is the New Athos Cave Railway in Abkhazia/Georgia (though I doubt I ever will)

    I’ve always wanted to ride these pod things at heathrow. I belive some Arab country implemented these same pods as a transit system too.

      I have a vague recollection of riding them as a child, but I don’t own a car so have never had to use them these days when going from Heathrow.

    Another, possibly more plausible thing would be to travel on a suspended railway such as the Chiba Urban Monorail or the Wuppertal Schwebebahn

    I really want to ride the Morgantown PRT at West Virginia University, but that would require me to enter the state of West Virginia.
