With woke people you get “omg what are your pronouns?!” and they’d and woke misgendering.
Conservative transphobes are conservative transphobes.
But like normal cis people that don’t really care that much about politics, or aren’t chronically online, are genuinely much more normal about it. Like idk if I’m just an outlier, but they don’t ask my pronouns, even if they misgendered me at first they always switch to she/her once they’ve actually interacted with me, and they just treat me like a normal woman, even though they know I’m trans.
I know I’m kinda a luckshit because of this, but I’m in a pretty conservative area, so it’s not like this is a woke libbed up city moment, but like normal redneck guys and black women have been more normal about my transexuallity than any other Cissoid.

They don’t have any preconceived notions about trannies. My ex-coworkers spoke about trans people when I used to have a job. Most people either didn’t care or brushed it off because it just doesn’t matter to them, only few people spoke against, and those were full package — homophobes, sexists, etc.
But these types of people are also enablers, they never oppose loud transphobes, precisely because they don’t care.

yeah, the dynamic is different with parents than it is with peers, so someone who doesn’t really care about trannies might very likely be “well my kid couldn’t be one” type.
