I hate redditors, the board is dogshit and I have no personal experience with discord other than it seems to be entirely built as a tool to groom minors so idk maybe just invite people you like instead of entire fucking websites or servers

It’s good to post anywhere you see fit tbh. Since we’re not getting indexed by search engines we’re still going to have that “private club” vibe no matter how many times we post about it tbh
we would lose the secrit club status but i guess that happens to every online community sooner or later
Well maybe not on Reddit but 4chan/Discord? And isnt that a little better than the site dying. Also we can still moderate it and filter out bad people or people who don’t catch the vibes
yeah it’s a natural part of the life cycle of any online community. my concern with 4chan is that since 60% of the active threads at any given time are bait i think advertising there directly would invite more bad actors than not. and any 4t4ers that would have migrated here from reddit probably already have by now. so discord / word of mouth seems like the best way to bring in new people, but what do i know
Maybe we should search reddit for select cool people and just simply invite them personally each time. Would take a lot of work though
