it’s very normality-oriented, like it’s the first thing people think to do & might be how others would rename you. it does have the practical downside that it will be easy for transphobes to guess your deadname
not if your name is so rare that no one else has it
that makes it even easier surely? unless the female equivalent of your name is more common
I considered it briefly but my old name’s swapped version was unbelievably AGP
it’s generally stupid and it’s better 2 just get a clean break
i think thats the least sneed thing u can do, save maybe letting ur parents choose ur new name
