probably controversial here, but i dont think u 100% need dysphoria 2 be trans, ofc if u put no effort in and complain that u dont get gendered correctly I think ur kinda silly. But at the same time in a perfect society we would just ask 4 eachothers pronouns regardless if u were cis or not, It feels humiliating tk be asked 4 ur pronouns rn but if this was normalised it would just be a normal thing. I also feel like enbys r apart of the trans umbrella (yes even “theyfabs”) they r still ostracised by society, sure alot of ppl just view them as quirky women but they r still treated lesser than cis people and infantalised (yes ik some r evil, but there r some horrific “normal” trans people too, generalising a whole group isnt helping anyone) ik yall wont agree bc im a cringe annoying “tenderqueer” that ahould be kicked out of tttt spaces for “gentrifying” it or wtv

like, I don’t know. it’s just hard to say this person is the same as me. But I’ll still always treat them with respect because whatever I’m a fake trans “nonbinary” anyway

I think you need dysphoria to be trans, and NBs can simply have dysphoria over not being NB enough.

like if someone fully transitions medically though and doesn’t feel dysphoria are you still saying they aren’t trans?

No, I’m saying they actually have dysphoria and are mislabeling it

transsexuality is a medical condition. it’s something you have, not something you do. just because I inject insulin doesn’t mean I’m a diabetic, for example.

I just don’t think a person can transition medically without dysphoria. I think they do have dysphoria and are mislabeling it as something else.

I agree… people here tend to associate all non-binary people with nontranistioning nondysohoric future detrans theyfabs, and that’s not fair. Most non-binary people are more similar to binary trans people than they are different. A big chunk are even transsexuals.
