It’s so annoying. I don’t know why me being brown means I have to act a certain way
My mum has jokingly called me a coconut but it just makes me feel so self conscious and I don’t like it
their probably reading some chronically online mannerisms as whyte
it legit just means that ur not a racial stereotype, like i kid u fucking not a classmate from high school once called me an oreo for saying i didnt listen to rap or hiphop
like there are legit reasons one could argue that im whitewashed but he chose music???
kind of depends on the behavior, but rarely is it valid to say someone’s acting white.
I feel like less of a black male for having lived in POW areas till now. Like I’m putting on a caricature just to blend in. My brother turned out fine though, no clue whats wrong with me.
Part of this has to do with my family immigrating and not wanting us (kids) to be made fun of in school. Making us as “American” as possible. I could have been bilingual…smh
