    even if you gave me “official” pharma hrt right now i wouldn’t take it. i’ll probably be diy-ing for the rest of my life unless they make undecylate injections available commercially, why the fuck would i take anything else?

        it’s not any better when it comes to results as long as your levels are the same, it’s all estradiol. it’s just very convenient to only inject once a month, and this is completely in my head but it somehow feels more right to have a monthly hormonal cycle of sorts. it’s also more convenient in case you are in a situation where you can’t do injections often, like maybe you live with people you are closeted to or in a shelter. the downside is that it’s more expensive, and takes many months for your levels to stabilize so you can get blood tests and adjust your dose.

      makes sense but I meant endos that prescribe patients like a dangerous amount of cypro and minimal amount on estrogen

    my country offers pills as informed consent treatment but i didn’t wanna take an AA or take too many pills (monotherapy levels of EV in pills increases blood clotting risk) so i kinda took matters in my own hands
