i wear glasses kind of low on my face to give a minor illusion of having a more compacted midface but its inconsistent and doesn’t really work good
Yeah I’ve tried that and it is a bad cope because when I wake up I don’t wear them and my brain checks this horrific face every morning and ruins my day

I’ve tried but my issue is on the mid-low third so it makes me look grotesque like it accentuates my ugly square chin and my long jaw, horrible experience…
how do you measure it? from the hairline? because if so mine is 20cm and wtf i didnt think it was that bad before??
Yeah where ur hairline start yo the end of your chin. U have to measure over the nose btw. And yeah 20 cm is bad, im sorry im 20.5 or so so I am doomed as well
are you sure it’s that bad though? i didn’t know anything about it before but checking first google result says 18 is female avg but for 180cm height its more like 19-20, i also checked dined and while they didnt have hairline to chin they had menton to sellion which i measured mine at 12cm which is 1mm above male average and around 8mm above female average, but well within standard deviation. i also found a video of a cis woman with prob very average face size measure hers hairline to chin at 18cm, but in a straight line so not going over the nose. so i’m pretty sure it’s fine and we probably have worse things to worry about </3
Idk my face looks too long, and my issue is prob mid face so im very fucked because mid face is hard to fix. I measured my upper, mid and lower facial thirds. from hairline to glabella is 6.5 cm which is not too bad, from glabella to subnsal is 7.5 cm (im fucked here) and from subnasal to end of the chin is 7 cm which with a genioplasty i can prob get same longitude than my forehead so yeah I’m a midface hon which looks terrible and long…

Yeah but long mid face is not a good sign at all :(. I wish I had just a long low face so genioplasty could save me but had to be mid face…
Orbital box osteotomy or the surgery to shorten mid face
Do surgeons do that for other than deformities? I’ver heard surgeons only does those type of surgeries for deformities not for regular aesthetics purposes
I’ve seen surgeons that kind of imply they would do it but they don’t necessarily announce it because it’s a new thing so it’s risky
