It’s not that she has irreconcilable views, it’s that she’s sadly very absolute and treats her assumptions as conclusions. She’s very millennial in some ways. She’s not actively maliciously transphobic, she’s ignorant, and might make fun of trans people, and has joked many times about violently leaving if her girlfriend comes out as trans. The thing is that her girlfriend is my best friend, who doesn’t share those views and she’s accepting. She doesn’t agree with the friend in question but also she’s not in a hurry to fix her views, since it doesn’t affect her directly or indirectly.

I haven’t come out to either, they think I’m just gay.
