  • It’s not a big problem there’s just that growing sense of frustration. I’m happy to see people living their lives without constantly dooming, just wishing sometimes they would try to stand out a little less. Even if i can distance myself from them, in the end we’re all gonna get grouped in together at some point and they’ll be the majority representing us. Feels like they aren’t trying enough, or worse, actively embracing it. I admit most interactions i’ve had with other trans folks were online so my judgement is most likely skewed towards the easily identifiable ones, survivorship bias and such.

If they’re into history (military for extra based), perhaps at some point they get hooked on paradox games too? Or just wishful thinking on my part but it would be cool to see more pooners interested in stuff like that.

Yeah i guess. If they’re more comfortable with spaces that are easier fit into, it might feel more natural for them being around familiar people. Makes sense they’d rather spend time there opposed to being at the constant danger of sticking out. In the end it’s not like they’re out to harm anyone (though occasionally dealing a bit of mental damge) so i probably should just move on

  • you’re probably right and i admit i was overreacting, the main thing pissing me off (generally, not just in this specific case where yeah it’s most likely just some silly teenager) is the complete refusal to pick up habits and behaviour of the gender youre transitioning to. It comes down to subtle but noticeable things such as body language, speech patterns, typing style, etc. which are apparently impossible to replicate for the average tranner. You can’t convince me you aren’t able to spot if someone is a mtf or ftm from a mile away, here, reddit, discord or whatever, doesn’t matter. It’s usually the way they text or the communities they’re active in (or they proudly tell you in their profile description). It isn’t even hard to actually pick up on the patterns. While i agree that people are likely to engage with intersts similar to what they grew up with i dont get how they can interact with content that has a fanbase compromised of 99% the opposite gender and not get immensely dysphoric. It’s also usually pooners that never put any effort into cultivating actual male hobbies save for the the obvious f.e bodybuiling, sports, vidya, anime. Never anything typically autistic like you mentioned. I’ve seen a bunch of trannies into Sanrio but never any poon interested in warhammer. Seriously theres probably more cis women into that shit than them but that’s probably due to sample size or something.

Assuming you were into some super stereotypically fembrained or malebrained things as a kid. Growing up spending a bunch of time online as a teen - wouldn’t you be more inclined to engage with the stuff you know other people your age and gender are interested in? Especially if you’re trans that’d be exactly what you’re looking for, right? It’s the fucking internet, not like you have to be a perfect passoid lookswise to be accepted, just put minimal thought into how you appear to other people and you’re fine.

    Sorry for the schizopost
