i’ve been going by mika for literal years because it is a male name here in europe and i’ve (indirectly) known cis men who are called mika, but over the years i’ve started to realize that not everyone views mika as a male name so i decided to just use it as a nickname instead and change my actual name to mikael. never told anyone irl about it tho because idk it feels weird to just show up and be like “hey my name is actually mikael but call me mika”
