its been a minute since i looked into the holocaust but iirc the mass killings didnt start until pretty close to the end. dehumanization and criminalizing public existence is very much something the nazis did in the earlier years of wwii, and its scarily similar to whats happening in the us right now (when kirk got kirk’d it seemed like the republican party was trying to mirror the shooting of ernst vom rath, for example)
