I see a post about a girl whos a minor and she’s willing to out to her conservative mom, I said she’s dumb and shouldnt and I receive a lot of downvotes, when I tried to explain why this would Ruin her life and would simply make her mom worst I keep get downvoted, like this is basic survival skulls, you shouldnt out yourself if you know the place isnt good for that
society has brainwashed the concept of filial piety and respecting your elders regardless of how much abuse they heap on to everyone from a young age so the youth are just completely mindbroken into seeking acceptance and validation from their families by showing them infinite amounts of “grace” and showing their bellies because it’s the “right thing to do”
