It’s been an intense couple of hours here and i could not be prouder of all of you.

You all came together as a community to help someone who was in danger. No questions asked, no hesitation. Your first instinct was to help.

And thanks to that, everything is under control now. You can relax. We did everything in our hands to help.

You’re safe. We are safe. We got each other’s backs.

Please be gentle with yourself and with each other. This events can trigger very unpleasant emotions.

Scream into a pillow, break a piece of paper, throw a ball around for a while. But be gentle with yourself. And be gentle with the other people here.

For the rest of today, before commenting or posting something distressing, please first consider that we’re all dealing with something heavy right now.

Let’s all keep showing up for each other. Let’s all keep taking care of us.

Thanks. Truly.

We don’t know for sure but we did everything we could. Paramedics have been called. She’s probably okay. Given the timeline it’s very likely she’ll be fine.

I hope so too. Now what’s important is that we calm down and we take care of ourselves and each other.

Please don’t feel responsible for what happened. This is, for better or for worse, well beyond our control. Please be gentle with yourself. We need you around too.
