I understand you’re anger, fear, and distrust. Really, I do. I think it’s fine and justifiable if you don’t want to go out of your way to befriend people who hold that much power, and often malice, over us.

I’m insanely lucky to have supportive people in my life. A lot of trans people don’t and that breaks my heart. You deserved better than what you got.

Me not agreeing with TCD or using it myself isn’t because I think you’re exaggerating how poorly cis people have treated you. I only don’t say it because I’m an idiot with hope for unity who just happened to be in the right place at the right time to see for himself that atleast a few cis people aren’t Satan incarnate.
