Andor is amazing tho Also I find lots of part of rogue one good but the overall film is bad
why?
The tone is inconsistent, characters are pretty bland, Andor specifically feels like a worse version of his character from the show and is inconsistent. The plot is kinda nonsense. As much as I enjoy the force monks they feel out of place. Jyn is strange and kinda passive and bland.
I dislike the plot point of Galen Erso sabotaging the death Star. The tantive 4 being there makes no sense. And both of these plot points weaken the theming and story telling in a new hope.
There’s lots of individual bits I like but overall I find it lacking and annoying
that’s fair, the weakness in the death star being out of sabotage rather than just them assuming no one would be smart or strong enough to abuse it is an interesting reading as well
To me it just feels like the storm troopers aim thing. A old joke that people started taking seriously and has affected the story afterwards
I think andor integrating that is actually pretty interesting and accurate to real cops tbh
