even tho the “plot” has higher stakes the righting feels so forced and flat. I think pokemon was better when it was unhinged and weird, because the Pokemon world is weird. Pkmn horizons is clearly made for children but alot of the jokes and writing in the older anime is more than that tbh

they are annoying yet when I watch horizons I miss them so much
