Like they’ll have been posting about being a trans woman for like 5 years and being an authority on the trans experience but apparently never started hrt in that time. They’ll be in some blue safe state in the USA too. Like idk but I feel like if you’re going to speak on trans issues you should at least transition a bit.

Agreed transition barely starts pre hrt
Like there’s some stuff like voice training or learning some makeup and such, but actually transitioning involves hrt
Yeah (I need to practice voice training like a year ago I’m just lazy)
I put it off for ages and it was such a mistake, but people tell me my voices passes now after over a year of practice and it helps so much with being gendered and dysphoria
I know it’ll be worth it but I feel so fake wherever I do but I’ll eventually get over it
Its really hard I won’t lie, and you plateau lots, like you’ll make no progress for ages then suddenly make lots very quickly, it’s very strange NGL but it’s worth it
Yeah it just seems like any skill in that sense I’m hoping because I’m a musician it’ll help due to already having food breath and pitch control but probably just coping
Oh if you can do that it’ll help lots. I already had a shockingly good vocal range which helped but I think it’s more possible to get a passing voice than most people think.
You’ll always think it doesn’t pass tho, you need other people’s opinions
Yeah I mean that’s kinda just everything to do with transition you always think you look worse than you actually are
