it lacks the nuance that bdd passoid had. the amount of people who are knowingly, and willingly “larping” and not just severely mentally ill and unable to see themselves clearly in the mirror is rather low id think. the most catty people arent gonna larp around niche tranny spaces for attention, theyre on tiktok and shit.

i get that sometimes its hard to believe people arent faking it for attention, but someone can say that they feel ugly and mean it even while theyre fishing for attention. i know ive done that before. made a post with an attention baiting title, knowing its attention baiting, but legitimately believing it and desperately just wanting someone to tell me im wrong. now, that never happens for me really, i just get sad faces and hug emojis but thats besides the point.

      malefailing does mean much of anything. hair can hide things. it just means my hair covered my face enough at that point and somebody assumed based on that. i’ve had long hair way before before e. also, i’m pretty sure gendered language in most contexts i interact with anyone isn’t common anyway.

        This wasn’t just someone mistakenly assuming your gender but fixing themselves when seeing your face, they straight up saw you as a girl after seeing you in vicinity for some period of time.

          i masculized heavily between 2021 and 2023 clearly. i started to masculize shit tons after 19. didn’t start to get facial hair until 19. that’s when my body and especially face started to rapidly be ruined. it was ruined by 2023. the guitar store story i can’t verify happened because my mother told me it happened i never heard the employees say anything.

              i don’t pass. i know hrt hasn’t done shit because 6 months ago somebody that hadn’t saw me in a year, that only saw me once prior, a year before that recognised me. i know for a fact nothing has changed. all the evidence points to that.

                Sorry, but it doesn’t mean much. I recognized people who I only knew before their puberty happened (or at the start of their puberty, I don’t really remember, just very young). Brain is good at this stuff.
