Alice (RabbitHoleGirly) is facing severe emotional, physical, and financial abuse from her family. They are currently holding her tuition money over her head to force her to visit them in less than 27 days. Given this history of abuse, she fears for her safety if she returns.
She is currently safely staying with a friend but needs to secure stable housing in the Boston area starting in September 2026. She also urgently needs to secure alternative funding (such as a student loan) to cover her final year of university so she can graduate in Spring 2027 and completely break free from their financial control. Additionally, she needs people to support her emotionally during this difficult period.
How You Can Help: We are coordinating a structured action plan through our Discord server and are looking for volunteers who can assist in the following specific roles:
- Legal Support: We urgently need people familiar with the US student loan process (especially for international students on student visas). She needs help navigating the system and figuring out what her options are.
- Local Support: We need volunteers physically located in Boston to help scout for affordable, trans-safe housing, view apartments, or leverage local queer/trans networks for housing leads.
- Researcher: We need people willing to do online research. This involves searching housing listings and compiling lists of Boston-based NGOs, trans health organizations, or accessible therapists.
- Emotional Support: We need people to help Alice emotionally navigate all of this. This includes providing regular check-ins and offering a listening ear to help her maintain boundaries with her family.
