A part of me wonders if doods lurk moar cuz men are less histrionic and attention seeking on average. Like maybe it’s more even than any of us think, but fembrainedness just biases the sight towards more female visibility, and we just got a silent base of invisible doods
trans men don’t need to doom as much since they’re probably gonna pass. Also, I can’t prove it but I think they rep way more.

I do think it is… a lot more likely to end up a natal female with a phenotype that is luckshitty enough that repping can be a reality tbf. Like PCOS runs in my family and I’m related to a lot of women who are honasaurus rex cisoids, and my Mom is a fully self-admitted repper (contemplates T, uses any/all pronouns, get’s giddy when I call him “Dad”, etc), and I can’t imagine she’d be successful at it if she was a poon caricature. So much of “femininity” is just “effort”, and so much of “masculinity” is just a lack-thereof, so I do think higher repping rates make sense amongst the population of dysphorics who didn’t really get much dymorphism, as you can kinda just be a female twink forever with the right amount of luck, yeah? I mean there’s like 50 year old estrogenated lesbians that are basically elder-twinks. It seems like the inverse hardly exists.
thatd be interesting but i doubt there are that many silent lurkers, let alone dood lurkers, so i only half agree. doods on a whole are more likely to be solitary and internalize and not seek out this kind of thing yeah, and then troons are more likely to group together and yknow socialize and externalize.

I gave it a few more hours of thought, and I think the kind of nuance you’re hinting at is probably the claim that’s most reflective of the truth if I had to guess. Like, there’s likely not a huge mass of lurkers, I’m guessing, doods or troons… but I assume we can probably agree that when looking at the sample of Tranistani’s who are very lurkery or entirely lurkery, that the gender demographics probably become less extremely skewed amongst that sample size, but nonetheless still skewed towards trans female… yeah? I imagine if every single poster kept posting and commenting and every single lurker started posting and commenting, that it’d stop being 90% troon visibility and start being like 75%.
But maybe that’s just me being a crackpot. There’s been a few times I’ve seen people be like “I usually never post or comment but…” whether on here or on the Reddits, and those posts tend to be niche poon posts that get no attention. That’s kinda where my suspicions come from
