went to a local trans support group, overall was a great time. the host was this maybe mid 40s trans woman. when i announced i was one year on hrt, and she asked me who my doctor was, and i said i was diy, she looked at me so bewildered i genuinely dont think ive ever seen anyone get closer to having their jaw drop irl.

    it was kinda cool tho there were a bunch of pretty cool people who i wanna make better friends with. nobody really mogged me either and some of them girlmode full time so theres a self esteem boost

        there wasnt a single person there who id describe as non transitioning, there were plenty of poons and hons but all of them seemed very genuine, im just so glad to finally have trans friends irl, im really looking forward to going again

            its probably a geographic thing aswell, here we are very much still in 2015 trans stuff wise, also very conservative so barely anybody would do this just to be quirky. i was honestly suprised how young the group was tho, all the stereotypes ive heard were that support groups were full of oldshit sissy rapehons, but this was mostly young adults
