victim blaming me for being uncomfortable with the rampant transmisogyny in the world. like yea I think its actually a reasonable response to my situation to assume that even people who are allies are going to treat me noticeably different if I’m out to them.
I’m not even the biggest hater of cis people but to pretend that the number of them that genuinely would see me not differently after learning I’m trans isn’t tiny ignorant and stupid.
a month or two ago, my mom was talking to her therapist (whom she rants and raves abt) abt how she doesnt feel right lying to my dad abt not wanting to leave (bc hes a violent psychopath with a gun) while preparing to leave him and the therapist said to get guilt off her chest she should just tell him shes leaving him (and risk getting murdered)
Oh Jesus that’s horrible, why do psychs want to put in danger all the time. Like they see fear as something wrong and not as a warning light
