Remember patterns of jokes, then try to find these patterns in sentences of other people, then try to tweak it in a way that will make it funnier. For example, by going for the opposite meaning, or adding some nonsense. You have to make a ton of bad jokes to become good at it. That’s how I did, by copying other people and recognizing patterns over many-many years.
