ive spoken of this
(text of the my post if you dont wanna click the link) "kafkaesque
i love that word. obvious considering my flair but seriously.
the merriam webster dictionary’s definition is
“of, relating to, or suggestive of Franz Kafka or his writings especially : having a nightmarishly complex, bizarre, or illogical quality”
its the process of being put on trial for a crime you never learn the name of.
the metamorphosis into a disgusting creature without explaining or warning.
a labyrinth of bureaucracy, with endless hallways, closed doors, and unhelpful officials.
an incommunicable pain, that no matter how much you speak, how loud you yell, can never be understood.
an absurd, unjust punishment. disproportionate from any supposed wrong doing that could possibly be the reason for it all.
that is what “kafkaesque” means. and then, what word is there that better describes the experience of being a tranny?
our lives are an absurdity, a trial without a crime but with a sentance of death, an unwilling metamorphosis into a monstrous form, and all while the bureaucracy of the world does everything in its power to lock us away from any minute relief we can get for this pain, no matter how much we scream and beg for mercy.
it feels like my life couldve been written by kafka himself. and the fate shared by his protagonists, is always bleak."
