“Born in the wrong body” used to get the point across

I don’t disagree, but i do wonder if cis people would be more understanding of that explanation than the “born in the wrong body” thing

if you explain it well. cis people are more likely to understand the more technically biological ylu get and the less theyfabery you encourage in your explanation. Like it’s not a choice, an aesthetic etc. It’s a fundamental wrong build of the brain and body due to defects when the nervous system was being made and so on

Sure. But even then majority of cis people most likely don’t believe it.

      Edit: made it more conscise.

brain rotted certainly but the more biological you make the explanation the more it makes sense

Yeah, I agree. It was largely a thought in my head anyway. I don’t really explain anything to anyone.

I explained trannyhood to a clueless 25 year old cishet man working a minimal wage job with no college with sole basic biological explanations like “ok so it’s an inborn brain mismatch caused by a vaginal defect which makes the fetus have wrong hormone receptors and as such the nervous system including the brain registers itself as a gender whereas the defect causes the body to not match the brain” and that cleared it up to him

It was largely just thought in my head, how describing it all in words sounds absolutely deranged. I never explain anything to people who I don’t care about.

was forced to explain to my father its like if you were a jigsaw puzzle and all of your pieces fit wrong, even if in the end they do make an image its the wrong image

and its not easy to ignore because eveyrhing you do is wrong, the pieces fit together but they make an abhorrent pattern, you see the pieces when you look at your hands, in the mirror, when you talk, when compared to others

other peoples puzzles may may not be perfect, but they are at least coherent, yours is an abstract image that inflicts distress and discomfort, its a distressing mosaic of misplaced pieces glued together that way

and the only way to fix it is by taking the puzzle apart and reordering the pieces, and the ones who cant fit youll have to cut up and re-order, it will always be jagged and stained and whether or not people can tell it was re-arranged is not up to us, we’ll never know until we finish the job

but at the very least, its bearable to look it, nots not causing agony again, we can look and say its somewhat right now, and thats better than outright wrong

its a shit explanantion but hey i had to come it with it on the spot

Nah. It’s like that with many things. Like in the same way I can’t explain why my mental illness makes it near impossible to work without sounding like a NEET slob.
