I’d say yeah because the implication would be that if there’s no food for me, then there’s probably no food for the dog, and I’d rather try to have one of us live than neither of us
In times of life or death, you have to make hard choices
Yeah. I wouldn’t want to kill my dog, I’m not a psycho. But in extreme circumstances unsvavory decisions must be taken, and I do think most people intuitively view themselves as more important than their pets, even if they don’t want to admit it
I view it practically, the animal has a shorter lifespan than me and would not know how to properly prepare my body so it doesn’t rot, that animal would definitely starve if I died for it
