Since we already have some suggestions over at [email protected] that I think could be solved by using a bot, i decided to go ahead and create one.

You can check out its github repository to see how it’s implemented. If you want to contribute to the bot’s development, PR’s are open!

Now, you probably have already seen the bot in action by being annoying and posting comments on every post that reached a certain number of upvotes. Since it felt quite icky to have the bot post comments on sensitive posts, i decided to change it so it sends private messages to users instead. Let me know what you think about this change using this strawpoll link, please!

There are some more features planned for gleglebot as well:

• Better blocking features
• Temporary break: self block feature
• Better linking to communities
• Purge user data on request automatically
