oh. well from my perspective the level of passability required to be essentially stealth has gone way up with trans visibility. so while I may have considered myself pretty passing in 2016/2017~, I would have definitely been considered a hon by today’s standards depending on how brainwormed the person is.
I also think it’s coupled with the fact that the definition of “passoid” to some people here has gone on to mean “unclockable to anybody with shaved head, naked, any angle, presenting masc” and things like that which I think is actually stupid.
imo passoid just means you can live your life as your target gender and nobody gives you shit for it, people assume you’re cis, etc.

yeah it could be that. I think the ratios are about the same as before as far as how well people actually pass? maybe there’s more zero effort boymoders now than before? I wasn’t very active in the 4tranosphere from 2017-2020ish, so maybe there was a golden era of passoids I missed out on?
There are less passoids now than there were 6 years ago in spaces like this, or at least thats how it seems to me (possible my passing standards rose for example)
