i’ve looked at a bunch of “A-Z fruit” listicles and i don’t see it!! it’s a fruit in the same way a pumpkin is a fruit, i.e. it’s not juicy or anything.

it’s one of those things where it’s botanically a fruit because it’s a flowering body, but culinary a vegetable.
