Unless you’re in the wokest of woke crowds (even then, 99% of the time when it comes to men the shit they say is purely performative) when women’s issues are brought up men will invariably make it about themselves. Without fail, mention anything, and men will complain how they have it just as bad, if not worse.
However, in the few years I’ve been transitioned and moving through life as a woman it is astonishing how differently people treat you. While I’m certainly much happier post transition on a personal level, life is decidedly harder. Stealth or not, job interviews, stranger interactions, dating, fucking playing games, everything feels like an uphill climb compared to how life was before.
At my worst, I was unemployed, dressed like shit, and an anti-social retard, but men still respected my opinions, assumed I was intelligent, and deferred to me regarding shit. Now I’m employed, affable, look nice, but men dismiss everything I say, can’t wait to attempt to correct me, and generally think I know fuck all (about everything).
Maybe one of the (only) nice parts about being trans is now when men center themselves, I can confidently tell them to stop being fucking pussies and man up 'cause I know for a fact their lives are easy compared to women. Although, they generally just dismiss that, too (I actually had a guy say that the reason I think life is harder for women is 'cause trans women have it bad, whereas cis women actually have it easy).
I apologize for the unhinged rant.

Fuck men, but only figuratively.
