ADHD’s “superpower” is hyperfocus, which is still worse than having a consistent amount of attention at your free disposal. I have ADHD-PI without hyperfocus and with terrible executive dysfunction, so it’s just straight up shit.
What’s the PI stand for? I do have executive dysfunction myself. And this is exacerbated by severe depression and stress. Normally I’ve built a mechanism of obsession systems to regulate myself but they become dysfunctional too when I can’t fix depression. Meds do help tremendously though
Predominantly Inattentive. I don’t have much hyperactivity symptoms. I will never have access to meds, so it’s sadly not a way for me. All of the meds for ADHD are banned, as far as I am aware. I don’t have depression.
Well, not really all banned, but they are almost never prescribed and it’s only the shitty ones. Getting diagnosis by itself as an adult is near impossible, but after that they just give you nootropics and vitamins mostly. You need to live in the biggest city and fight for it. And I live in a backwater city.

Where do you even live, Afghanistan? Why are they banned? At most they should be kept behind a prescription by a doctor, this is fucking inhumane.
