if i don’t get ffs within 2 years i’m killing myself. what ways are the quickest to getting it? i plan on getting an actual hrt “prescription” in a month or 2 so i can officially be in the government tranny system and begin to qualify

        alright, what you want to do is get a job in a state that mandates ffs coverage (typically blue states, washington, oregon, mn, colorado, ny/nj, cali being notable)

        the moment you get insurance coverage through said job, start booking consults immediately and put yourself on the cancellation/standby list (not that some surgeons may need medical letters from doctors/therapists/psychs, so start getting those), be sure to research which surgeons take your insurance

          Washington is goated bc you can get BCBS premera on the exchange, but if you don’t live in a blue state, try working for companies based in Washington which are to some extent beholden to WA law even out side of the state. Think Starbucks, rei, Amazon, and Costco

            you can get premera on the exchange BUT you can’t get the PPO. working for a local employer is the easiest way to get around that

            starbucks and costco are neigh impossible to get hired as these days, so you’ll really need to look around
