What do you mean gender is marked on both adjectives and verbs so I literally cannot say one fucking sentence without declaring my gender. I’m saying a basic ass sentence why is the gender of the subject marked at all you don’t mark them in the pronouns its only present on verbs I end up having to speak in either:
- round about ways the with dative subject so that its not marked
- the ergative marking in the perfective (only one I enjoy)
- using we because in the eastern dialects people use we as a universal 1st person pronoun with no gender
god why couldn’t we have gone the way of Bengali
I feel you… My language (Polish) is not that bad, but I still can’t form a sentence in past tense (verb agreement) or say an adjective without gendering myself…
It would actually be interesting do make a scale of how dysphoric speaking different languages makes you
