i mean it’s engagement bait which is basically ragebait. yeah the two colors are maybe slightly different but i guarantee you that the light, camera and phone screen will distort their differences to such an extent their “true” color is just inconsequential. idk im tired and everything is ragebait rn

they could be the same colour, but even if they aren’t most people’s screens won’t be able to show the difference, esp after it’s been compressed

the best engagement bait is when only a few people’s screens can display the difference so everyone ends up arguing in the comments

they’re very different imho and display calibration shouldnt really affect color differentiation, only ‘absolute color’ (no idea if that’s the real term). it’s always been different to me no matter what screen i’ve viewed it on at pretty much any brightness (except maybe very low brightness). most of this falls on your brain and eyes

edit no i can see a difference at the lowest brightness (for some reason the difference seems more visible at a lower brightness which confuses even me)

it’s not only that tho, e.g it could be that one of them has more light on it, this would make them have different rbg values, it does seem like they have different rgb values in this pic, but i don’t think it translates well to colour irl

if anything it would be far more visible irl since screens can’t show as much color differation as irl

ig then my point is that there is still more than enough color information in srgb to show the different shades of the color in the image and it’s a very clear and obvious difference to me.

i do have years of experience with color in a computer art sorta way (3D art, games, etc) like for context i have one of the most downloaded mods for a game and that mod focuses exclusively on color/vfx
