Transmedicalism derives from radical medicalist which implies that the person in question believes you must go through a system and that the doctor is always right. Some of them also believe that whatever surgeries you get your sex is innate and you will never be a real whatever.
Most people who identify as transmed are rather subscribing to Harold benjamins theories some sort of Benjaminist you could say. They believe in the concept of what is considered a Tru trans or a fake trans and they believe they have to enforce said thing by circlejerking about how little so called fake trans people deserve to live
