Ex-far right and especially Nazi trannies (if they’re hear, doubt they are tbh. if there are none, help me brainstorm) why?

it’s a completely fair comparison to say that someone doing good things can be massively overset if they killed millions and millions of people and led their nation to ruin

led china to ruin? it literally built modern china! Are you seriously comparing everything I’m saying to fucking dog walking laws that were out immediately once the third reich was out the door! no structural impact! It’s no different from any other countries industrialization.

Just look at Chinese economic growth, it starts rising quick in the 80s, before that it’s just a flat line, when you are Industrialising that number rises quick, China industrialised in the 80s, not before that. You are making excuses for a guy who led to tens of millions of deaths out of sheer stupidity and then also cracked down hard on people who disagreed with him, after the whole letting tens of millions die out of sheer stupidity.

If Stalin had anything going for him, he actually succeeded in his Industrialisation and wasn’t that stupid.

(china’s industrial capacity clearly fucking improved its a super power) Russia was already a super power, even if it was lagging. In 1949 the Chinese people couldn’t even build a fucking tractor. (despite the fact that this argument is focused on physical assets and not market value) China was a sub colonial agrarian society with 0 heavy industry. Under mao, GDP grew 10 percent every year. it looks flat because the Renminbi wasn’t traded on the global market and the economy was autarkic the stupidity argument is so… stupid. How can a “collapsing” economy result in a population that doubles in size and doubles its life expectancy? If Mao’s policies were purely “stupid,” why did the most basic measures of human survival improve so drastically? while the great leap was a failure, the other 20 years of leadership were highly efficient in every regard and metric. He turned a country with a 35 year life expectancy and no machines into a nuclear superpower. Mind you, the second china opens up to the global market once Deng took over, it absolutely exploded into the economic miracle. disgustingly successful.
