It used to be tradition, at least when I went out dressed as a guy. But nowadays it seems like you have to say you want to split the bill, at least that’s what I see around.

I’m going out with this guy on Sunday and he said, “Baby, I’ll pay for your” and now I don’t know if the right thing to do is to say thank you or if that makes me look like a gold digger.

What is the polite protocol?

      I’m used to the “if he’s paying, I have to pay the other way” protocol… This unusual scenario is strange.
